So, the UK General election is over & the public have decided is no uncertain terms that they haven’t a clue who they want to run the country! We just hope we get a clear cut result in our election themed remix competition!
Below you can download the stems to “Great Britain” from our album “The Logic of Chance“, we want you to do whatever you want with it, cut it, twist it, make it all nasty then send it back to us. We’ll then create a shortlist of the best remixes & decide which is the best remix by a public vote!

Damn, I wish more artists did this kind of thing. I’m a gadget geek, I take apart all my favorite toys, and I love being able to “take apart” a great song and examine its component parts. If I can put them back together in a cool way, all the better. (the songs or the gadgets)

I know several producers who might be very excited to remix this track, because it’s got great energy and there is a lot to work with. However, having only one winner based on voting isn’t really a remix contest, it’s a popularity contest. I hope that you might consider having a winner picked by the artists and a winner picked by popular vote.

Charles F is right. The winner will be the person who gets the most people to vote for him/her by posting ‘vote for me’ threads all over the nets. Or the person with the most internet friends already.
@Billy We (dan & pip) are going to create the shortlist so you’ll only be able to vote for the ones we feel are strongest, that should mean that how many friends you have is irrelevant!

Hey there, chaps – loved having a go at Great Britain.
Really wondered how it could be improved and not just naffed up – the emotional tone of it is perfect. However, this ultimately didn’t stop me throwing the kitchen sink at it – it’s kitchen sink drama, after all.
